July RECAP!!!

I can't believe July is OVER! I guess I will just recap in pictures. Or at least what I remember of it!

The kids finished up with T-ball, softball, and baseball. Let me tell you that having 3 kids in three sports at the same time was C.R.A.Z.Y!!! I guess this is just the beginning!

We had some friends over for the fourth and we had so much FUN! Sorry for the lack of pictures here...

Adam turned 30!!!!! We celebrated by decorating the house and "SURPRISING" him... I think he loved it!

On the 14th we celebrated 9 years of marriage! No pictures, but I really feel like we had a lot to celebrate and be thankful for. We are BLESSED beyond measure!



Adam ran is first marathon! He did GREAT in 3hrs. and 41 minutes. I had so much fun watching him. I am so proud to be his wife!
The kids (Tyler, Leah, and Turner) spent the week at Camp Family. This was just a picture of Okoboji. Camp family is where my parents, and Adam's dad and his wife Lori, and Mom and husband Kevin take turns having all the kids and SPOILING them beyond belief, and then send them on to the next house. I think it is SO awesome that my kids get that opportunity. THEY LOVE IT! I on the other hand then spent the next two weeks "re-training" my spoiled children... BUT I wouldn't have it any other way! I had some MUCH needed time with just Carly and forgot what it was like to just have ONE!!! Oh my, that was quite a difference. JUST to reiterate... I LOVE having FOUR!!!
Adam grew (and shaved) a beard... Don't tell him this, but it was growing on me! We ended the month with everyone in the family having the flu! (That made for a lot of cleaning to ring in August) I can't wait to see what August brings!

I can ride my bike with two wheels in no time!!!!

Here is what Turner says...no cue from us... " I can ride my bike with two wheels in no time. Keep my wheels like this...FOREVER"

VACATION 2009....Colorado tour

I LOVE family vacations. Spending time with the people I LOVE the most, away from reality, and focusing exclusively on the family. We went to Garden of the Gods to watch Adam run ( ALWAYS feel proud to be his wife but I feel so much when I watch him achieve a goal), Denver, Estes Park, and Winter Park. All amazing and all beautiful. We had a blast and now I have TONS of laundry waiting for me. I guess it's back to reality.

Happy 4th Birthday Turner on "MAY NINETEEN" (Today is my birthday) You were the best two day belated 24th birthday present EVER! You always make me smile... I love you!

I love being their mom!

My mother's day started with some breakfast made by Tyler... This is the story that has been told to me, Tyler set his alarm so he could wake up early to make me breakfast. After awhile he decided that he would make me toast and BLACK coffee. (I usually drink a protein shake for breakfast so they were apparently clueless as to what to make me. BUT I thought it was sweet!) So Tyler thought and thought about what to put on the toast. He asked Adam to butter it, and Adam old him that he thought I might not want butter so to keep thinking about what mom would want. After Tyler spent much time searching in the fridge he told Adam he really did not know what to put on the toast. Then he said "I know, we could look on her MYFACE to see what she likes. " ---SO CUTE!!! SO I ended up with cold BLACK coffee and a little BLACK dry toast. Which I ate so happily knowing how much love was put into it.

Then we went to church, Adam did some laundry and we went out to dinner. While we were out, I had to take Turner and Leah to the RR. When we were walking there a gentleman was on his way out. He politely wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Being the kind Soul he is Turner promptly responded "Happy Mother's Day to you too!" -HE is one of the FUNNIEST kiddos EVER!

I also received a beautiful bird bath. That I hope to see the blue jays and cardinals using in our backyard. I knew about this gift prior to mother's day because Adam took Turner with him when he bought it. He was so confused about keeping a secret from me. He just kept asking what he should say. Finally Adam tod him to say nothing... Right when he walked in the door, /I asked what took them so long. Turner responded "We had to get you a bird bath".. Adam ..a lesson learned don't take the kids with you if you want to keep it a secret. Oh, then I saw Turner had a scrape on his knee, so I asked where he got it from. He then told me he got it from when he was picking out my birdbath.

Saturday was a SUPER busy day!

We spent the morning watching Adam run the 10K at the River Race. He set a PR. He ran it in 41 minutes. He has been running a lot lately and has really improved his time and his physical shape. I am so PROUD to be his wife. He wants to take great care of his body so that he can be around for a long time and also help our kids live a healthy lifestyle.

Tyler ALSO set a PR. He ran the 2 mile in 16 min. ans 30 sec. You can see by his picture that he is beating many men who appear to be in great physical condition! WAY to go Tyler... He also placed second in his age category at the Easter Sun Run. there he ran it in 16 min and 40 sec.

Turner ran the Tot Trot and he "won" he also "won" last year, here is a side by side of that event. SERIOUSLY. not much has changed.

This day was filled with Baseball pics, a baseball scrimmage and baseball practice for Tyler.

BUSY busy... but I wouldn't have it any other way......

The lovey lady on the right in the first picture made this happen. She is a dear family friend and Carly's Baptism Sponsor. She is also an incredible mother and OBVIOUSLY fantastic at her job. (she is the director of marketing and advertising for Rainbows United) Thanks Michelle! We love her and her family to pieces.

(On a side note... I have been SEW busy Ha Ha! .... More on that to come later... or sooner I hope!)
